These stakes are substantially made from 16mm solid steel tempered bar with a forged and pressed top ring.

There is an Eyelet with a 70mm Diameter ring permanently fitted for allowing rope to be passed through and holding under strain without chaffing. They have a machined point at one end to allow for easy penetration of canal banks etc. These pegs are easily handled and can be removed by hammering against the top forged ring and then pulling upwards by hand.
